William Topham

William Topham is currently an undergraduate at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce, with a double major in International Business and Marketing, along with minor in Chinese. William joined Global China Connection with a view to working within a diverse environment with various universities around the world to share knowledge and ideas and build a better understanding of global economic activity that involves trade with China. He has been learning the language of Mandarin for 9 years, and ever since visiting China in 2017, he has loved the Chinese culture and language. Through being a part of the Global Team at GCC, William hopes to help inspire students to pursue China-related opportunities and connect with others to help them achieve their own personal goals. William is currently the Marketing Manager for the Canterbury branch in New Zealand and has also gained experience through an internship at a Marketing Agency, working with various clients to build and share their brand with their target audiences.
