Phil is currently a junior at Baruch College, the City University of New York, where he was accepted into the Macaulay Honors College program on a full scholarship. There, he is majoring in Finance with a minor in Political Science where he was formerly a Hertog Scholar studying classics, western literature and political theory. Phil attended high school in Long Island in New York where he received the Excellence in College Accounting award and Most-Improved in English prior to attending Macaulay.
At Baruch, he is currently the Co-Founder of Baruch Business Brigades, a business chapter of the established organization, Global Brigades. There, he is also Chairman of Global Brigades at Baruch, the largest student led movement for global health and sustainable development where the organization seeks to empower and revitalize developing countries ranging from Ghana, in Africa, to Panama, in Latin America. Phil has also volunteered and studied abroad in China as a Summer English teacher. He hopes to build bridges through his startup project called “FeiBulls,” connecting the continent of Africa to the East and the West. He is passionate about the intersection of finance, global affairs and international development.
Phil has lived in New York all his life and was born in the US. In his spare time, he enjoys playing pickup basketball, lacrosse, chess and reading.
