Lochlan is currently a second-year student in the Dual BA Program between Columbia University and Trinity College Dublin. He joined GCC in his freshman year as an Associate of Network because he wanted to be part of this dynamic community to promote U.S.-China exchanges on various fronts.
Born and raised in Beijing, he has long been an observer of U.S.-China relations and is interested in China’s development on the international stage. At school, he currently serves as Managing Editor of The Colloquium – Trinity’s only political and current affairs magazine – and Article Editor of the Columbia Journal of Asia. He enjoys writing on geopolitical, historical, and legal topics, which have appeared in the Columbia Political Review and other outlets.
He interned at the Think Tank and Civil Society Program (TTCSP) at the University of Pennsylvania-affiliated Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies and currently serves as Director of Publications at the Vanguard Think Tank.
