Kristina is a junior at Vanderbilt University double majoring in Economics and HOD (Human and Organizational Development) with a minor in General Music. She grew up in Beijing and went to a private all-girls high school in a small town in Massachusetts, where the sociopolitical landscape was very dissimilar from that of Nashville, and which allowed her to observe and understand the different sides of the U.S. political culture.
Kristina joined Vanderbilt GCC in the spring semester of her freshman year as a member of the marketing committee, where she helped design the posters and brochures for GCC Vanderbilt’s annual China Forum. Kristina began her service as the finance chair and a member of the e-board in her sophomore year. In addition to finance related responsibilities, she helped out with and in some cases led the organization of various events.
Prior to the pandemic, Kristina also engaged in volunteer activities as part of a co-ed service-oriented fraternity and was working to complete Emergency Medical Responder training. Outside of school, Kristina has work experience in recruitment consulting and plans to attend law school after graduation. In her free time, Kristina enjoys playing sports, traveling, and photography.
