Do you see an opportunity to start a GCC chapter at your school? To start a new chapter, all we need is: An undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a university without a recognized GCC chapter. Interested and passionate about China, and understand GCC’s mission.

The GCC chapter network is the pride of Global China Connection and the core of the organization itself. Chapters represent GCC on local campuses, hosting events, conducting research, leading philanthropic projects, and getting involved in global GCC initiatives. Global China Connection is dedicated to spreading our mission of fostering deep and trusting personal relationships among Chinese and non-Chinese university students by establishing chapters all over the world. GCC Central Management will do all it can to support new chapters, but the creating, running, and true magic of the chapter depends of the initiative of its members.

GCC的分支网络不仅是我们组织的核心，还是我们的骄傲。全球中国链接的分支在本地代表着我们的组织并开展活动，组织演讲，领导公益性活动，并参加全球性的GCC活动交流。GCC致力于应用全球分支在中国与其他国家大学生之间建立深度，诚信的关系。 GCC的中央管理会尽一切努力支持新分支，但是分支的初始人员更决定了它健康，有创造力的运行。

STEP 1

Fill out the Application Questionnaire (HERE)

STEP 2

Initial Interview with Global Team

- A member of the Global Team will reach out to you through the email you provided in the questionnaire and schedule an interview with you.
- Things we’d like to see during the interview:
  - At least 3 founding members (including yourself) present during the interview
  - A founding president with former leadership experience
  - A solid understanding of GCC’s mission from your team

STEP 3

Receive GCC Starter Kit

- Once you pass the interview, the Global Team will send you everything you might need to start a chapter at your school including:
  - New chapter membership agreement
  - GCC constitution
  - GCC statement of independence
  - GCC compliance package
  - GCC Marketing material package

STEP 4

Pass Recognition at Your University

- If additional documents are needed for your recognition process, you can contact the global team network department at anytime.
- Design the GCC logo for your own chapter.
- Once your school recognized your chapter,
  - you will need to co-sign the new chapter membership agreement with GCC’s current global team president
  - your school logo will be displayed on GCC official website’s chapter network page

STEP 5

Complete GCC Academy Training

- The GCC Academy Training is a program designed to help new GCC chapters build a solid foundation.
- It will consist of two 1 hour sessions and cover 4 major topics:
  - GCC History & Mission
  - Management & Eboard Structure
  - Recruitment & Member Engagement
  - General Event Planning
