Zhilin Chen was an associate of GCC NYU chapter’s marketing department last year. She helped the GCC NYU chapter to hold and market a game night, career workshop, and destress session, which leaded members from NYU GCC to experience different activities. For the upcoming year, she will be the new director of the marketing department.
She is working on an IPO program for this summer. She pitched several companies, did Due diligence for the company’s cash flow, participated in writing responses to a principal comment letter, etc.
She also had experience working with the Youth League of China Think Tank in Chongqing as a research assistant. She evaluated the value chains of 5 agricultural products and used data analysis to identify the most vulnerable rural households. Also, she collected and interviewed 40 farmers to research their chain actors and poverty alleviation. Her team presented 8 solutions to local government officials to drive income growth and reduce poverty.
She is glad to join the Global Team as External Relations & Outreach Associate. She hopes to help GCC Global team find potential sponsors and structure strategy proposals for GCC’s partners. She hopes GCC Global team could establish long-term relationship with more sponsors.
