Hanmu is currently a junior at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Human and Organizational Development, Applied Mathematics, and Economics and minoring in French Studies and Computer Science. Exercising her knowledge in the finance industry, Hanmu had several professional experiences in investment banking, management consulting, marketing, and technology startup.
While Hanmu continues pursuing a career in the finance industry, she always seeks to improve the educational environment of the underprivileged children in China. Growing up in Beijing and attended high school in the Chicago area, Hanmu has obtained a very internationalized perspective and has been keen to contribute to the facilitation of Chinese students to the many other parts of the world. Establishing an online non-profit French workshop for students without much educational resources in China since 2020, Hanmu has broadened many students’ horizon and knowledge about the world.
In the future, Hanmu wants to continue building a potent platform that connects young professionals around the world. Joining the GCC Global team as the marketing associate, Hanmu has learned about the important role of marketing to the development of our organization. In her tenure as the VP of Marketing, she will focus on fulfilling our short- and long-term goals for the design and operation of all GCC public accounts, securing the GCC brand public image, and managing the GCC brand marketing materials and subscribers.
Besides school and work, Hanmu enjoys watching k-drama and Japanese anime, traveling, dancing, and reading.
